Someone would agree to this because they want to restart their life and have the opportunity to own land and become an owner of property in America.  
Indentured servitude ends because of the lack of basic necessities for indentured servants.  For example, they are only given little amounts of bread, water, and peas to eat, and the living conditions are harsh, as malaria is present. Additionally, the Headwright system gives these servants little opportunity. The lack of indentured servants leads to African slavery in America.

There was little food, little to no access to good clothing. Or access to clean water. Life was in pretty much in every way worse in Virginia than in Europe. The hopes of freedom both religious and economic is what drew people here, but now there's little keeping them here. They cannot go back, but they regret coming. They write their relatives of the difficult times which moves their relatives to stay in England, requiring more African-American slaves to be brought to the Americas.
