I found working on the topic very motivating. Visiting the glass museum and factory in Marinha Grande helped me to understand how glass is made, and how important sustainability is in the process. We learnt about how glass can be endlessly recycled, and how the factory is minimizing its waste from glass production.

I think that I didn't learn much new regarding recycling in general because I'm quite familiar with the topic. As for recycling glass, there isn't a way for me to personally contribute except for bringing my glass bottles to the recycling station, which I already do. I will however go to pick up trash, because on the day that we collected trash from the beach, I saw that it was actually easy and pretty enjoyable and with a big group it made a significant change.

Seeing how the traditional industries like glassmaking, which is very culturally important in Marinha Grande, can also become more eco-friendly. This made me think more about sustainability in what I do everyday, and how I comsume.

I think i learned more factual info (for example the history) that I can't really put to use in changing my behaviour.
