What shocked me is the amount of teams; I only knew about one. It made me feel like the people that think doing such with Indigenous peoples is hypocritical. Nobody else would be okay with being made a mascot for any team, so why do such to them? It never made any sense to me at all. Indigenous peoples have already gone through enough and for people to try and "honor" them with racist caricatures and team names for sports makes no sense to me.

Learning the true meaning behind "Redskins", I was deeply saddened and overall confused as to how it was even permitted. It shows the contrast between how different minorities are treated. Explained, although minority groups are undermined, it saddens me to see the level of disrespect and racism Indigenous people face so blatantly.
