We learned the multiple different tools needed to take apart a transmission. they included: a pry tool, a socket set, a ratchet, flat head and phillips screwdrivers, needle nose pliers, and a wrench.

This included checking all our fluids, checking our tire pressure, and performing an emergency tire change with what items we had at our disposal. We also used our handy dandy cheater bar on my lug bolts because they had been tightened much more than they should have been. In class we also learned emergency skills like jump starting a car and they safe order in which to attach all clamps to their terminals. We also learned how to check our fuse boxes and read our box maps. I found a fuse that connected to my cigaret lighter that had been blown that i was able to replace. Finally we learned how to unlock our car doors if our cars were equipped with certain types of locking mechanisms. In class we also learned about our coolant and how to test the mixture. We changed the oil, oil filters, spark plugs, checked the battery, replaced air filters, and also learned how to remove a broken plastic bolt. we also learned how to sharpen the blades of a lawn mower.

I also learned how to mud walls and lay tiles using grout and tile spacers. we also learned how to paint walls and throughly mix paint. We also learned how to sodder copper pipe.
