I got the opportunity to go to my favorite bands concert, Coldplay. Luckily, they were performing at my local area so transport was not an issue. The whole thing was thrilling: from the moment I purchased the tickets to the band performing their final song. Everyone felt so alive! It’s incredible how a group of people with a few musical instruments could harmonize hundreds of people. Truly, it was an unforgettable day.

The tickets were put to sale to the public via their website which was easily accessible. Being a huge fan, I bought them directly on the same day. The tickets were affordable; anyone could buy them and enjoy the concert. Some of friends bought it at our local Walmart, where they were also being sold. However, another one of my friends was not able to attend the concert as they were sold out, which was a bummer.

The day finally came. I was quite late, but better late than never. The venue was in a vast park not far from my house. As I arrived, I saw hundreds of people with smiles on their face. The concert started at 8p.m., where Coldplay started performing their famous tracks. It was quite a tiring event; from all the singing and dancing. There was not many variety of refreshment areas, and the few that were available were very crowded, maybe this is something that could be looked upon next time. Overall, the concert was amazing, truly something I’d experience again.

Eisa Alkhalifah

Recently, I visited a local concert called 'Talents Of The Local' that unveiled the talents of my community. I ended up really enjoying it! Although there were some minor issues with booking the tickets the place was buzzing and full of energy.

Booking the tickets was the most frustrating part of the concert. Due to how popular the concert was, booking a ticket was practically impossible. Every time I tried to pay for the seat I had chosen I would get a message reading 'Error ticket already booked' It was driving me crazy. However, after I got lucky with booking a ticket the process got easier as it sent me an e-ticket directly to my email which was very convenient .

Entering the concert made me forget about all the troubles of booking the tickets. Immediately after entering the concert I realized how passionate the crowds ; hearing them roaring every time an act was about to start. The venue itself was incredible. Everything was decorated as if it was Christmas. The seats were comfortable and I had no problems sitting in the for the next 6 hours. Every seat had a clear view of the stage and booster seats were offered to children which was very thoughtful.

Overall, I can safely say that the concert was a breathtaking experience that really amazed me. However there was one thing that I believe should be improved and that is the process of leaving the facility. There was a huge crowd and leaving the facility was not an organized process. Having security ready to escort people in small groups would of been a better way of handling the situation.

Concert Review

The local EDM concert has been the talk of the town for months now. The youth had been waiting for the tickets to be released, so as you imagine getting tickets was near to impossible. The queue was horrific and in total i waited a whopping two hours for a slip of shiny golden paper that read "ADMIT ONE" in bold. I was relieved to get out the line and back to reality after the prolonged wait.

As you can imagine the turnout for the concert was huge with people dancing even before the music began! The teenagers covered the ground and there was no where you could stand without being stampeded over. The music was loud and everyone was trilled and dancing and you could feel the hot, sticky sweat in the air. The blasting speakers were awfully loud and everyone was screaming their lungs out to each song the DJ played.

The venue was the local playgrounds, it was massive and the stage looked odd in front of the miniature football goal. By the end of the night, all the grass was dead and there was mud everywhere.

I think the concert was for young people. The tickets buying could have been organised better as it was too crowded and there was only one counter selling tickets which was not a logical decision. Apart from that, it was an enjoyable concert and a refreshing event contrasting to the boring "carnivals". It was much needed and I am sure there will be another again soon.

Concert review:

The local concert that was held last week was an event you should not have missed. The organisation was great, the ambiance was great, and so was the concert itself. Although most of the audience went crazy over seeing the actual performers and thrashing the entire place, they were contained quite well, and the show proceeded with no problems whatsoever.
Even though there was a huge crowd of people that wanted to attend the show, there was not enough capacity to hold the large amounts of people that rushed to see the show as it was about to start. It was like a herd of buffaloes trying to drink water from a small pond that could only quench the thirst of one or two. The venue was extremely small, and not well prepared for the crowd that was there.
However, the process of buying the tickets was not too stressful as it was organised pretty well. People were well guided and let into the venue in a surprisingly orderly fashion. That was something I must have to compliment.
The concert itself was much better than what I expected. I did not expect such an entertaining show based on the performers and ticket prices, but it was quite an amazing show. The only thing I would want improved was the venue. Specifically the capacity of the venue

What would you do when a concert of BTS was held in you place?
Dinitey not miss it. The first time I heard about it, I didn't hesitate to to show my love for them by doing all that is possible to get an entry to the hyped concert. However....the process was quite tiring. I, never in a million years, imagined to see a sea of girls going crazy in the ticket center. I was speechless....But I had to admit their popularity was taking over the world by storm.

What the venue was like? I thought it would be like paradise; lush green grass everywhere inside a lavish stadium. However, it wasn't what I had expected. The stadium was cramped, but the number of people were infinite. I looked around and saw banners that had heart-warming messages: 'We love BTS', 'Teamwork makes the dream work' and so on. It was a wonderful site to see.

Lastly, the concert was a beautiful experience that can't be described in words.Lovely and authentic would be the only words to describe it. However, I wished it was more spacious for the fans. Installing food stalls would also be a great idea, I believe.

Last week, I got the privilege to attend my favourite artist’s concert. Luckily enough, it took place in Mishref, right beside my house.

The artist isn’t very well known, so the concert wasn’t as popular as you would expect a normal concert to be. You would think that this would make the process of buying the tickets easier, right? Well that wasn’t the case for me. The website where I bought the tickets, Ticketmaster, really complicated the whole process. My card was rejected 4 times before it finally worked!

After the hassle of getting my tickets, I was finally able to attend the concert. The venue was very small and congested- you would have to push your way through a crowd to finally get to your place. Nevertheless, once you get to your designated location and get over the stress, the atmosphere of the venue is remarkable. It was filled with bright lights and special effects that really made the experience more unique and special.

The concert itself was incredible- it made the whole chaos that came beforehand, worth it. The artist came on time, and everyone has a good time. The area was filled with stress-free people, dancing and having the time of their lives. I made a lot of new friends there too! However, if there was another concert to be planned in the future, they should improve the process and accessibility of buying the tickets. The venue could also be changed to somewhere bigger- maybe the new venue in Shuwaikh could be an option?

The Grand Music Festival Review
The Grand Music Festival is a concert that is known all around the world, knowing this the tickets where very hard to find. There were only a limited number of seats for the concert which made it even more difficult for me to get the tickets, but it deserved the wait.

The venue was split into sections, each instrumental family having a section of the large curved stage with the center of the stage being taken by the well renowned orchestra “The Golden Notes”. There where small stores scattered around the whole venue selling food, drinks and memorabilia with some stores selling gear for instruments.

The overall atmosphere was great but there are some critics that I have against the festival. In my opinion the food stands and stores should have their own area or section of the concert grounds and should not block the entrance. Speaking about the entrance there where only three gates to go through with one being very slow; this could be improved by adding an extra gate to the back of the concert ground to lower the fuss at the front gates. Overall a great event never the less.

A Comprehensive Review of The Jahra Concert

The Jahra concert' main focus was the local band 'Kasoos' which specialise in the 'oud' instrument (an instrument deeply ingrained in Kuwaiti culture). We have long waited for this moment, but unfortunately I have failed to see the masterclass we were promised, and I am left thoroughly disappointed.

First of all, buying tickets was no simple task. There was atleast 5 other people that were scrambling for them (the capacity of the venue is 20 people) and I had to fight tooth and nail to obtain one- and had to a pay a pretty penny for it as well. The concert was clearly popular, and was attracting hordes of people-mostly middle-aged man with stains on their dish-dashas.

The venue of the concert was decent at best. On one hand it had a fancy fog machine (that was broken), but it was just too dirty. I have no idea why, but there was tons of rubbish on the ground no matter where I set my foot. It was supremely distracting. Not to mention, the venue had no power. Yes not at all. At first I thought that was a stylistic choice, but the nervous sweating of the host accompanied by his wry smile confirmed my suspicions of them somehow having no power. So we just sat there in darkness, like we were inmates in Alcatraz awaiting execution for our crimes; in this case it was going to this concert.

Finally, the music. The part that you have all waited for. Surely the awful service, venue, and extortionately priced tickets had to be compensated by beautiful savant-like pieces of never-heard before music? No. It was never heard before alright. The band was playing the 'oud' with as much fluency as my year 9 french. It was akin to that of the guts of squirrel being dragged across a chalkboard. It was terrifying. Horrid. The lead singer must have either been sick, or smoked at least 5 packs of cigars, because his voice was harsher than a laundry detergent. Awful experience, will never go there again.

Recently I had visited a concert held at my local town centre and before going there didn’t expect it to be much, however it was quite a surprise as the arrangements were great. Being the first time that such a major event was held in my town, almost all the town was keen to experience it and that’s where the problem began. Every day you would have to wait at least an hour just to reach the counter to get your tickets, and on the day of the concert the town hall was absolutely packed with people. There was no space to move around and the only way you could get out was after the concert had ended.

The town hall where this event was hosted was decorated very creatively and was completed with lights, food arrangements and a small stage. Overall, I would say the concert was quite amusing and exceeded everyone’s expectations. However, to improve it next time I think the concert should be held at a larger scale thus more people can attend and whilst doing so to also have a limit on the number of people that can attend based on the size of the venue so that it doesn’t get overcrowded.

Concert Review:
The London Symphony Orchestra was one that exceeded all our expectation, leaving listeners wanting more. From the chirping violin to the echoey whistles through the clarinets, the orchestra delivered exactly what was needed for a chilling production: the warmth and energy of a head-turning performance along with a good crowd. All instruments blending together in harmony, making for a lively piece that got plenty of toes tapping.

This prestigious and elite concert is held once every month, making it one of the most sought after tickets each season. In normal circumstances, I would’ve never been able to bag myself some tickets. Luckily, the tickets seemed to fall onto my lap, as my cousin had some urgent last-minute business to attend to, leaving his beloved tickets to me! It took him about a 3 months to save up for his tickets.

Second to the performance, the venue was nothing like I’ve ever seen before. From the tall marble stands to the deep plum seats, the exquisiteness of the concert hall left heads turning left and right.

Music to My Ears

According to Sunday newspaper, this will be the “Best concert yet”. Thankfully, this year, I finally got to attend the concert I have been dreaming about ever since I was a little girl. The Mishref Concert was the only concert in Kuwait. Last year, I came so close to purchasing the tickets but alas they were sold at the last minute. I wasted no time this year. I was first in line the second they were available.

Packed to the brim, the venue was overflowing with excitement and liveliness. An old venue (50 yeas old to be exact), yet a magnificent one all the same. Even if the wooden boards were creaky. Memorabilia of all the great artists who have played here before was strung up on the walls. Instead of having chairs to sit on, the only thing accessible was towering columns that you could lean against.

Starting on time, the concert was quite an event. The buildup and anticipation was definitely worth it. Various artists appeared – singing in Arabic and English. A special guest even made an appearance.

Concert Review:

I recently visited a concert, held in The RedFest UAE Event. I had a great time with my friends from school and I most definitely will cherish that moment.

Firstly, it came to my surprise at how quickly the tickets were selling; there was a ticket being purchased every minute! I thought to myself, "Well I have to go, right?", and I'm glad I did. It was a successful event as many people turned up, so I met a lot of new people.

Secondly, the venue itself was amazing. I enjoyed the splashes of red all around the stage and backdrop and I could tell the people who arranged this put in a lot of effort. I was also worried about where the venue would be; whether it would be grass or concrete, yet I was pleased when I heard that it was concrete, so I had no issues of my favourite pair of shoes getting dirty!

Finally, the music played was breathtaking. Pop bands of all ages were playing, even local school bands played (I must say, they did produce decent music). The atmosphere of everyone jumping around and dancing their hearts out made me feel wholesome. This event was much needed as my exams are coming up, so it took a lot of stress off of my shoulders. I do wish that there was a better variety of food and drinks there, seeing as a lot of the things were store bought and stale, however, I assume they were on a tight budget. After-all, they provided an amazing venue. I would love to go again with my family next time!

The place was crowded with people, fighting to get in line. I never thought I would see such a large population in my entire life. It was overwhelming.

Once we entered the venue, I knew that all the hassle was worth it. I was tired by the time I got inside as I had to wait in line for thirty minutes! However it was all worth it. The venue was huge! There were seats everywhere that were divided into sections; gold, silver and bronze. Obviously the people who were seated at the gold zone got the best view.

At the end however, the seated zones didn't matter. Once he entered the stage and started singing, nobody cared whether they could see him or not, his voice was the only thing we wanted to hear and we did. He sang non stop, combining songs with each other, and the band.... they were the best! They were all in tune with each other.

I loved the experience,

Several times, during the booking process, the website would suddenly crash, causing us to go through it all over again; which wasn't easy as the navigation of the website itself was confusing ( Which wasn't helpful since we were working against the clock to get these tickets before they were sold out). But, nonetheless, we finally managed to get those tickets and book a flight to Dubai.

Although the booking process was frustrating, it was definitely worth it. The place was immaculate! It was clean, airy and (surprisingly) not too crowded. My friends and I definitely enjoyed the music and atmosphere in general and the people there were really friendly. However, the after math of the party was a mess... Spilled drinks, bits of food and litter were only a few things scattered around the ground.

Countless people have been extremely excited to visit one of the most outgoing concerts in the middle east, and one of them were me! Last weekend, I got the opportunity to enjoy concerts in the Kuwait Music Festival (from several talented artists), not so far away from where I live. Doesn’t that sound like a dream?

Firstly, being able to get decent tickets was impossible; it was even harder using their website! I forced myself to wake up as early as possible, just to be able to get a ticket. You could hear everyone scream behind their screens when it said that there weren’t enough seats. This was a once in a life time situation, and the number of people wishing to go were uncountable.

My luck was surprisingly perfect, since I got one of the front seats in the concert. Being able to see my favourite artists seemed so unrealistic. The venue was crammed with many other people who were as ecstatic as me, but there wasn’t enough space. If only there were seats…

Some of the artists performing, such as Ariana Grande, had problems with the microphone. In my opinion, it would’ve been beneficial if the staff fixed this problem before the concert. Finally, many of us were thirsty, so why not add a section where we can buy water?
