Meanwhile, the turtle kept walking, though slowly. When the rabbit woke up, he was shocked to see the turtle almost at the finish line.

example of a historical recount in English:

The First Moon Landing

On July 20, 1969, one of the most significant events in human history took place: the first successful landing on the Moon. The event was part of NASA’s Apollo 11 mission, which was launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida on July 16, 1969.

The crew consisted of three astronauts: Neil Armstrong, Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin, and Michael Collins. Neil Armstrong was the commander, Buzz Aldrin was the lunar module pilot, and Michael Collins was the command module pilot. Armstrong and Aldrin were the ones to land on the Moon, while Collins remained in orbit around the Moon in the command module.

After a four-day journey, the lunar module "Eagle" separated from the command module and began its descent to the Moon’s surface. At 20:17 UTC on July 20, the Eagle landed in the Sea of Tranquility, a flat area on the Moon. Shortly after landing, Neil Armstrong famously said, "The Eagle has landed."

A few hours later, Neil Armstrong became the first human to set foot on the Moon. As he stepped down onto the lunar surface, he said his iconic words, "That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." Buzz Aldrin joined him shortly after, and together they spent about two and a half hours exploring the Moon, collecting samples, and conducting experiments.

The success of the Apollo 11 mission marked a monumental achievement in space exploration and fulfilled President John F. Kennedy’s goal of landing a man on the Moon before the end of the 1960s. It was watched by millions of people around the world, and it remains one of the greatest milestones in the history of science and t

echnology.

Yet, the gods protected them. The basket washed ashore, and the infants were nursed by a she-wolf. A shepherd later found them and raised them as his own.

Upon reaching adulthood, Romulus and Remus learned of their true origins.
