         <title>Classroom Library Organization</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The classroom library is truly the heart of the classroom. You have to determine a way to organize the children so that children become independent. Neatly organized and labeled baskets are great. It is also essential to have some sort of <strong>labeling system so that students are confident where to return books</strong>.&nbsp; I have found that colored dots work wonderfully for this.  Then, the teacher is no longer responsible for keeping the classroom library organized, a self -check system is already in place.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Correct Models</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As I reread the chapter on launching READ-TO-SELF, I was thinking of how to provide support to children so that they truly understand what read-to-self looks like. Of course, debriefing after practicing read-to-self is important. I also feel that role play and providing <strong>visual reminders for our youngest learners is helpful</strong> - the book refers to them as correct and incorrect models.&nbsp; Children love to see their pictures hanging in the room.&nbsp; After discussing both correct and incorrect models, could you take <strong>pictures of correct models</strong> with an iPad, smartphone, or school camera and <strong>hang them</strong> along with your anchor chart?</div>]]></description>
