As a baby, one of my kids learned how to communicate using her hands- she points her finger at her palm and says "mo". We have all learned to understand that she is saying "more" and it is her way of asking for more food. This is funny to our family because we always hear her say "mo mo mo" when we eat together... its cute and a message to us that she is part of our crew and likes food too!

Often toddlers and preschoolers have no sense of time. One day, one of my daughters once got up in the morning at 6am, and put on her party dress because she KNEW there was a Birthday party to go to that day.. except that she didn't understand how time works.. and she had to wait 8 hours for the party to start. She probably asked a million times "is it time to go to the party now?" it was super funny but also repetitive .. she loves to party!
