Quality instruction during these short bursts of intervention is essential! I guess my only suggestion would be to try to reach out into the community for more regular volunteers to help with small group interventions. I have seen growth in the students I am currently working with. However I am skeptical of the "flying the plane as we build it" theory in the sense we know that even as advanced of a time we are living in, that theory is not practical along with the results of the data over a 4 year period.
