Diversity within the classroom is increasing and because of this teachers need to make sure that as they teach they are not excluding different learners.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>1. Talking Text</p><p>Programs that have the ability to read the text out to the students is a great way to differentiate instruction.  PeppleGo is an example of site that has many articles on a variety of topics that can be read out loud to the students.   This allows all students to access the content even if they may not be on that reading level.</p><p>2. Scoot Pad</p><p>This website adapts to each students learning needs.  In this way both math and reading content is at the students current level which helps them get the support they need while boosting their confidence as they are able to succeed at the task.</p><p>3. Discovery Education/Brainpopjr</p><p>These websites provide educational videos that are on the level of the learner.  They include many visuals to reinforce their points and also have closed captioning which can reinforce the language that is being used.</p>]]></description>
