Since that day, these two individuals come see me in my class daily just to make sure I am ok. That meant a lot to me. It's the little things and it helped me to realized that I am seen and others notice when something is a little off.

I was also instrumental in helping an elementary and middle school onboard their makerspaces. As a result of those collaborations, I was able to have a course added to the curriculum to help students explore their passion projects. I felt heard by school leadership to introduce a new initiative that really helped students have an authentic learning experience.
