Assalamualikum, For today's class, I learn based on PBL (Problem-Based Learning) on Information Technology Project

The learning process is very helpful because Madam used another thing that is visible to explain the FILA such as madam using a chair to make us clearer what does FILA Form do and how to differentiate the Fact and the Idea

In the class today, we are given 12 different pictures, to show the project flow on the project. Then we need to fill in the FILA Form.

FILA
F= Facts
I= Idea
L= Learning
A= Action

-Fact is for what cannot be changed or cannot be misinterpreted by anyone else, It is just one solid answer and can't be argued

-Idea is an assumption made by us, what we assume about the project.

-Learning is the question of 5W 1H on the project such as how the client explains what they need or they want.

-Action is what we do to overcome the problem and make the project successful.

we learn that there's all of the PRINCE2, PMBOK, SDLC, AGILE, and WATERFALL..they are all in the PLC. So basically PLC is the biggest thing in this chapter.

I am the type of person that always been organized and quite efficient person. I loved planning and executing tasks, and I was always the go-to person for managing projects. Then after I heard about the project manager's salary from madam, I realized that project management was something that was truly a great opportunity maybe?

I began to research project management and the skills required to excel in the field. I discovered that successful project managers need to be great communicators, organizers, and problem-solvers. When doing the research, I was exposed to different project management techniques, tools, and methodologies. I was fascinated by the way project managers were responsible for bringing ideas to life, meeting deadlines, and ensuring that all stakeholders were satisfied. It is actually hard ya to be a project manager.

Today we start the class by creating a question based on chapter 3

My question is who is responsible for rating the business case and how do they rate it?
After that we did origami, and I do car origami…then we need to exchange our origami with the question that other people ask.

I get a question from saufi, and the question is what is the project objective?

My answer:
The project objective is actually the same as MOV
The project objective is what the plan is to achieve at the end of the project. And it's correct.

Madam asks a great question, what is the difference between a business case and a business plan?

The business case is done before the business plan because the business plan starts after approval of the business case.

We need to remember the 4 formulas of calculation that contains in this chapter which is
-ROI
-PAYBACK PERIOD
-NPV
-BREAKEVEN POINT

I learn that value is subjective. Our project may be valuable for us, but not for other people..so we need to make our project have some value that is related to all people. I also learn that doing a project is not simple, it is also a business. we need to have a great plan and we cannot jump into the process without a strong plan. we also need to know the possible losses to be borne. I also understand that MOV and defining clear project objectives are crucial in project management. It helps project managers to focus on the most important goals, ensure stakeholders' expectations are met, and measure the success of the project.

Today we are doing the quiz, and Alhamdulillah I got 27/30

I got wrong because of not state the answer completely enough. The example is, the answer is Agile method.. but I only write agile and get wrong.

Madam then asks for the user requirement document (URD). I do the URD and what I learn from URD is:-
-(URD) is an important document that details users' expectations, requirements, and desires for a certain product or service.

From URD we can know
-User needs and expectations
-Scope of the project
-Prioritization
-Risk

and we need to assume if any trouble we need to face while doing the project, what are the expected problem will need to faced.

I can implement this URD in my life also, I can define clearer my goals and objective in life such as being a good Muslim and being a good son to my parent. I can define what expected problems I need to face in my life such as maybe I will experience becoming unemployed in the future, so I need a plan to face the problem so that I can survive.

I earn a lot from other group, I learn what they do on MOV, how about their website design, what is their color pallet and I learn many thing in other group project charter. Before this i'm confuse on how to do the impact in the project description, after analyze other group now I know.

Today , I learn that presenting requires strong communication skills, including the ability to speak clearly, concisely, and effectively. By observing and analyzing the presentation, I can learn how to improve my own communication skills and become better at conveying our ideas to others. I can see other people "how they present and how confident are they". By presenting...we need to understand what we present not only read the slide. By understand it, we will be able answer as much as possible question from listener.
