It added comradery for me. Definitely felt a sense of community and that I was not only an awardee but apart of the organization.

I feel like we need more events where the ambassadors can come together and truly discuss throughout the year about events, the program, Kc Scholars, etc.

I feel this program brought more awareness that there are other KC Scholars. I felt like it was hidden amongst other college things, and now that it's being showcased I feel the community part of this scholarship/broadcast is more apparent.

I wish that people knew more about the events that we plan and that we try and make an environment in which other scholars can connect with each other.

Get to know the systems on your campus on how to rent rooms or who to ask for different things on your campus early. This way you can adjust your plans or know ahead of time how far in advance to have events planned or prepared

College can quickly become very lonely and overwhelming. I've always found that the KC Scholars staff is super supportive and willing to help me with whatever, and so many other scholars are willing to help as well!

I wish that it was more understood that this is something new and what it's trying to convey. I feel like if they knew the goal of this program, who their ambassadors are, that events would reach more scholars.

More frequent meetings with the ambassadors all as a group or the individual campus ambassadors to get to know each other and to plan more events each semester.

Get to understand your demographic and the community you are apart of because then it would be easier to organize events and communicate what they want from the program. Especially from oneself.

I think my campus just struggled with getting all the ambassadors to communicate and actually take part in planning. Since we had that struggle, it also became stressful for the ambassadors who were invested to take on their load of the work.
