Nature can bring comfort or solace in all types of trouble. No matter if it's big or small. The play made me realize just how important things like nature and family are. And we take them for granted for too often. We don't know that we can wake up tomorrow and it could all be gone. In a flash. From listening to the story of Anne Frank, I have found more appreciation for not only nature, but for family as well.

Some may compare our quarantine to living in the annex for two years. But they are nothing alike. Especially now we can go out and wear a mas with almost no risk. I also feel grateful for nature as well because since quarantine started I have had quite the fun time being able to go outside. Im also starting to appreciate my family so much more. I appreciate them more because The Franks never knew when they could be taken away from each other and never see their faces again. Unlike Anne and everyone else who was in hiding at the time, we don't have to worry about going outside and being scared whether or not our religion was going to put us in danger. Today, many of us take for granted the privilege we have to even step outside our home doors. Her documentation of her rough and painfully long journey can ever so slightly compare to our quarantine life in the beginning of this pandemic but definitely not as dangerous as theirs. With today's technology, we have the ability to call, text, or even explore nature at our fingertips, relieving us from boredom. Overall, I would say the play has taught me to appreciate the little things in life.
