         <description><![CDATA[<div>. <em>This data shows the expected years of schooling and the mean years of schooling in Australia, recorded in 2020 using HDI<br>. </em><strong><em>Australia rank - 8th</em></strong><em> <br>- </em><strong>Australia’s</strong> expected years of schooling is <strong>22.0</strong> years, with the <strong>mean of&nbsp; 12.7</strong> years of schooling <br>.          <description><![CDATA[<div>. <em>This data shows the HDI of the expected years of schooling and the mean years of schooling in India, recorded in 2020<br>. </em><strong><em>India’s&nbsp; rank - 131st<br>. </em></strong>India’s expected years of schooling are <strong>12.2</strong> years with a <strong>mean of 6.5 </strong>years<em><br>. </em>This can indicate lower wellbeing in the country as lower education levels means lower job opportunities leading to lower wages and happiness <br><br><strong>Reasons</strong> <br>- Absence of foundation years in schools - more than 30% of educational funds are allocated towards higher education, leaving the <strong>primary</strong> <strong>education in India</strong> in sway.<br>- Shortage of Well educated teachers<br>- Too basic facilities <br><br>.
