Petroleum is a naturally occurring flammable liquid that's used to make fossil fuels. To find this substance, people have wells that they drill into the ground and collect the content.

Solution: The government can put a limit on the amount that can be collected. This will allow the environment to recover from the mining that has been done

Problem- Waste substances get disposed/transported through different bodies of water. It dissolves/mixes with the water creating contaminated water which is terrible for the environment.

Solution- spray Dispersants over the oil spill. Dispersants are chemical agents (similar to soaps and detergents) that help break up an oil slick into very small droplets, which dilute throughout the water. While this does not remove the spilled material, smaller oil particles are more easily biodegraded and it provides a measure of protection for sensitive habitats threatened by a surface slick.
