I chose this topic because I believe it is very important that students know how to correctly start a sentence. I think that students who learn this in a way they find fun will be able to remember it better than students who do not learn in a fun way.

My favorite lesson plan was the game to play where the students have to act out the sentence they are given while the rest of the class has to guess what the sentence is.

I would have my students use index cards and match the sentence to a picture. I.e. I see the cat and they would match the picture of the cat. The students will be able to race to see who can get the most matches before the time runs out.

The students will have picture cue cards that have a clue on each card. I would set it up as a game of memory and have the students work in pairs. Each students would take turns looking for a picture card that completes the sentence they were given.
