Hello, my name is Mohd Faizul Bin Enzil , born in 02 December 2002, and came all the way from Kota Belud Sabah and currently a Building Engineering Technology student in University of Science, Malaysia. I am a nice, fun and friendly person. I am honest and punctual and i also work well in a team but also on my own as i like to set myself goals which i will achieve. I have creative mind and i am always up for new challenges. As for language, i am fluent in Bahasa and English and i also have basic in Arabic since i learn Arabic from elementary school until highschool. I could not say that i am talented in sports but i do play badminton, soccer and sepak takraw pretty well but not skillfull enough to be called an athlete. I also enjoy listening to music. Music is a type of medicine that could bring peace to your mind when you listen and feels it . Last but not least, i like to travel a lot because i could see new things in a place i have never been before and wactching the scenery along the way while travelling is what i like the most and for your information i also love cats ><... <3

for part A, i need to sketch myself and describe about myself whereas about my personal background, how i see myself in 10 years and what could i do for the betterment of built environment as a bulding Technologist.

But the challenging part is that i need to write them in A3 size paper using architecture letters and must accordinfg the scale given.

Meanwhile for part B, the task is to determine and identify the actors that were involved in built environment and answer the 5W 1H question that were given that is who are they, what is thier scope of work, where they can work, when their services are required and how to become professional in their field by creating an infographic.

PROJECT 1 C : FACE MASK

Part c is the last project in project 1 where we are required to produce a face mask that reflect our identity or personality according to the given theme that is nature and future.

For my mask, the given theme is future. so my mask was inspired by power rangers and it represents my identity as a future building technologist. the material used for the mask is paper, glue and aliminium foil. firstly i used the aliminium foil as a base for my mask where a put it on face and start to shape it according to my face. then i put paper with glue on top of it so it will harden and easier to colour. i coloured my mask blue because it was my favourite colour.

LESSON LEARN IN PROJECT 1

In this project, i get to know about my course, my future jobscope and who i will be working with in the future. Furthermore, i get to know about all the actors involved in built environment that i dont even know before. it helps me a lot for my further reference in the future. This projects also helps me to improve my creativity. In this project, the things that i need to improve is my presentation because i could deliever my presentation very well because i was a bit nervous and not ready for it. But somehow it helps me to improve my presentation in the next project. :)

In project 3, we need to design and create a fitness equipment that were environmental friendly. for my group, the design concept that we choose for our fitness equipment is the concept of duophilic while our theme is The Earth. The fitness equipment that i build is a double and a single seat seesaw.
Then we need to draw the elevation drawing, 2 point perspective drawing and also an isometric drawing then proceed to built the 3D model of the seesaw.

PROCESS INVOLVED
It does takes times and many tries to make the drawing especiallly the two point perspective drawing because it was first time doing its. Then i proceed with my 3D model where i use a ice cream stick to make it and finally coloured it according to our theme that is the earth with green, blue and brown colour.

Project 4 is all about building elements and materials where we need to make a 3D model gazebo including the elements that involved. The design of the gazebo must need to follow the theme provided . For our group, our theme is beach so i made a gazebo that suitable to be placed at the beach. Furthermore, we also need to determine the materials used to make the gazebo and its speciality.

In this project, i begin with doing a case study by choosing a 3 example of gazebo design and find out information about it and then make our own design according to the 3 example before. Then i proceed with a draft drawing of my gazebo. Then i proceed with a plan and elevation drawing of my gazebo according to the scale then listing the structural components and materials of my gazebo. After finishing all that, i proceed with building my gazebo that takes me 3 days to build. i build using a box, leaves , ice cream stick and wallpaper sticker. Then we are required to present all of our progress.

LESSON LEARN FROM PROJECT 4

What i learn from project 4 is the structural component and the suitable material used for making a buildings. This also improve my skills on designing a building myself . Furthermore, i can easily draw plan and elevation drawings since i already did it in project 3 before . However, for my model, the are certain structural components that were missing that should have been in the model. But at least for my presentation i did great than before because i already gain confidence in delivering my presentation in front of others. Overall i have fun doing this project 4 because i get to build a 3d model of gazebo myself.

To conclude, there was a lot of things that i learn in semeseter 1. I met a lot of new friends, a friends from different state and different ethnics. At first, it was hard to communicate with them since i came all the way from Sabah and the language has slight difference from ours . But , it was fun to work with them. The project that was assigned to us is also all fun and interesting where i could learn a lot from it eventhough it was hard for me as i did not have basic skills such as drawings. I enjoy working with them and also the studiomaster involved where they help a lot on making our project the best as it can. I hope that in the next semester it will be more fun and exciting eventhough did not get enough sleep but it was great experience for me.

Project 5 is a group project where we need to build a 3D house building based on the floor plan given. We also need to list out the specification of each components contained in the building. Then a 2D elevation drawing according to the scale and size given. Furthermore, we also need to prepare a report about the sustainable and green innovation that we need to install to our buildings and finally we need to present it .

PROCESS INVOLVED
Process involved in making this project is the drawing, specifications and building the model. For equipment used to built the model, we collect money from each of our member to make the model perfect and turns out pretty. Since there are 12 members in a group, so it helps a lot to finished this project in time because we divided the task into 3 parts. We finished the project after doing it days and night and on weekend also.

LESSON LEARN IN PROJECT 5
For this project, what i learn the most is the cooperation among us to complete this project. All of our members did well eventhough there were different ideas and clashiing thought but we managed to sort it out. This project was the most fun and interesting among all of the previous project for me.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION
In this part, we were given a group of 9 members and need to produce a complete report about the stage involved in housing development process in Malaysia. My part was the development approval stage.

PROCESS INVOLVED
For my part, the contents of my report i get from various resources such as google scholar, articles and research paper. It does takes time to point out the process involved in development approval process stage since there were various ideas from different source. so i take best one with the help of my friends also.

for part B, we were required to choose six from eight stages of property development process in Malaysia in part A and summarise the various actor's role and turns it into an infographic on an A3 size paper.

PROCESS INVOLVED
In this part i choose to draw a process of constuction from beginning to when the building is finished built. The drawing represent the stage of the development process that i choose. The source of the roles of each actors is mostly from google scholar and websites.

PART C : CURRENT ISSUES IN HOUSING DEVELOPMENT

BRIEF DESCRIPTION
in this part, we were divided into group of three members where we need to do a research about the current issues in housing develepmont in Malaysia where we choose the squatter settlement issues in Kuala Lumpur. in this part we need to investigate of details of the issues, possible solutions, why they have arisen and where in the project development stage the issues emerges with the help of secondary sources. We also required to produce a video presentation of our report.

PROCESS INVOLVED
To complete this task, firstly we list all of the possible question that we could to the person where we will be interviewing for our secondary sources. Then from the interview and source from websites and books from google scholar we begin to write our report. after done with the report, then make a video presention to explain and deliever the contents of our investigation of squatter settlements in Kuala Lumpur.

LESSON LEARN FROM PROJECT 3

In this project, i learn to draw a isometric drawing, two point perspective drawing and plan and elevation drawing. But the drawing was not very well and not neat but it does look good on my eyes as it was my first time doing it. I am proud of myself becuse i managed to do it and proud of my 3d model because it turns out pretty nice.

In this project, i learn about the property development process in Malaysia where i dont even know about it before. But we managed to finished the report on time with the cooperation given by our team members . However i did not statisfied with my works where it lacks of important points because it was hard finding the point in websites and books and elaborate it. I also did not understand well about the built environment stuff but i did get the idea of it and i wish a could improve my knowledge about built environment after this.
