These past two years have helped me grow into an educator who values inclusivity, cultural responsiveness, and relationship-based practice. As an Indigenous woman, this journey has also been deeply personal. I carry the strength, teachings, and resilience of my family, especially my grandmother, a residential school survivor, into the work I do every day. This has pushed me to become an educator who honours diverse perspectives, advocates for equitable spaces, and creates environments where every child feels safe, respected, and celebrated.

I am proud of the educator I am becoming: someone who leads with empathy, reflects with intention, and shows up wholeheartedly for children and their families. As I continue to grow, I look forward to expanding my skills, deepening my practice, and contributing positively to the early years community.
