2. My favorite book that I read was One of Us is Lying. I loved this book because it was a mystery/suspense novel and those tend to be my favorite. I loved trying to figure out which character committed the crime and loved being shocked multiple times throughout.

2. My favorite book that I read this year would have to be What Light. I liked this book the most becuse it was mysterious, I was thinking if her family and friends would ever really beleive that Calebs not a bad guy after all. 2. My favorite book that I read was The Shining because it had wonderful plot and characters that you get to love. Jack was a wonderful antagonist to the story. It's a good book when you couldn't put the book down until you finished reading the chapter your on. The ending is very different in the book then in the movie. I liked it better because in the movie they just bring in the hedge maze unlike in the book, when they actually mention the thing that causes the ending of the story in the beginning.
3. I would like to read at least 15 more books in the next 2-4 months.

1. I have read 45 books this half of the school year.
2. I did not have a specific favorite book, because they were all good. But my favorite book series is probably the Percy Jackson series. The books seem as if they are realistic fiction, but they are not because Greek Gods are there and they are characters. This series is amazing because the main character is Poseidon's son, so he can control water, and breathe in it, and he is just overall a cool character. He has to fight monsters, Greek Gods, and even titans, which are even stronger than Greek Gods. Besides Percy Jackson, there is Annabeth Chase, the daughter of Athena, Grover Underwood, a satyr (half man half goat), Nico Di Angelo, son of Hades, Tyson, who is a cyclops (and Percy's brother), and many many more characters. The first book is the Lightning Thief, the second book is The Sea Of Monsters, the third book is The Titan's Curse, the fourth book is The Battle Of The Labyrinth, and the fifth and final book is The Last Olympian. There is also a series after this one, which is where Percy Jackson gets lost and no one knows where he is, and three other demigods (half man half god) have to find him, along with Percy's friends. (another good series is the Middle School series, which I would recommend along with the Percy Jackson series.)
3. By the end of this school year, I want to read 100+ books, and the genre is realistic fiction, fiction, and graphic novels, along with a few nonfiction. I am reading new books every day, and by the end of summer, I want to have read 300+ books.

2. My favorite book that I've read so far is probably Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, although I am still reading it as of now. It's just really suspenseful and really ties together all the other events that have happened in the Harry Potter series. (yes i've read them all). Anyway, the book also has a very different plot from most books, as the entire series differs quite a bit from other series. Also, it is a fantasy book, and those are my favorite. When it comes to Harry Potter in general, it's a great series.
3. I want to read at the very least 7 books the second half of the year, but if I can read more I'd like to.

1. I read 8 or 9 books in the first half of the school year.
2.My favorite book I have read isn't just one as it is one and it's sequel, which is The Infernal City and Lord Of Souls due to the books having multiple protagonists all equally interesting and fleshed out with their motives, backgrounds, relationships, etc. They are also based off of and serve as sequels to Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, which is also a plus. The author was also willing to take risks with the plot and make some unpredictable decisions.
3.I would like to read at least around 9 or 10 more books by the end of the year, but if I have less due to reading more challenging books, like "The Silmarillion" by J.R.R Tolkien, I'm fine with that.

1. I have read 8 books in the first half of my 7th grade year (I think only 6 documented because I forgot to write them down and I think it's been too long to do it now)
2. I think my favorite book so far this school year would have to be what I have read of "The Bazaar of Bad Dreams" by Stephen king which is full of "short" stories, I put short in quotations because the stories are usually around 70-100 pages. My favorite short story in the book is Mile 81 because of its details and how the plot does not shy from killing characters off. All though, I do not recommend this book to anyone who does not want to read profanity or anything with death.
3. My goal is by the end of the 7th grade year to read more books with old english, because I read "King Arthur and His Knights" by Howard Pyle, and I could slightly understand the writing the more I read it, but by the time I finished I was still not able to fully understand some of the words. To practice this, I want to read more old english so that I might be able to understand it more because I really did enjoy the writing, but I couldn't understand it all.

2. My favorite book that I read was Kalahari , by Jessica Khoury. This is my favorite book because there's a little bit of mystery in it and there's a lot of suspense. And I like a lot of suspense. Kalahari is about a girl, Sarah, who needs money for her and her dads 'camp' so they started to tour people. The only problem is, Sarah's dad went out to catch these poachers and he hasn't came back. So Sarah takes the group and goes out to find them, uncovering many secrets. There's death, suspense, mystery and a little bit of romance.
3. I want to read 10 books from realistic fiction and maybe some mystery in the next 9 weeks.

This was my favorite book because it gave 2 perspective of friends it showed true friends that would help ou get through anything and never be rude to you and it showed friends that would find friends they think are better and never talk to you. The book also shows how you can move on and not be really hurt when a friend leaves you and find better friends that wont hurt you.

2.) My favorite book series iv read so far has to be Tokyo Ghoul I love that its a kind of comic book that makes you wanna read more and you really question whats gonna happen next and the characters are very interesting and weird but cool at the same time I recommend it if you like anime

honestly i don't think i read very many books, maybe 6. my favorite had to be the N.E.R.D.S. series. (national espionage, rescue, and defense society) the stories are really cool, each one focuses on a member of the team and their life. or maybe Kalahari. that book is about some teenagers who got lost in a desert and had to survive. my goal is to read at least 10 more books by the end of the year.

1. I have read a total of 19 books this half of the school year.
2. My favorite book(s) was the Harry Potter series, even though I've read it 8+ times. I love that series because of it's story, characters, depth, locations, and it's ability to stick with you wherever you go. I can make a Harry Potter connection to 99.9% of my conversations on a daily basis. The character development is extremely well done. You care for each character,(in a certain way), and all of the major deaths, (Dobby, Albus, Fred), hit me in the feels, hard. I don't cry for books/movies, and Harry Potter was the first one I've ever cried for. Each major location in the series is described in detail, to the point where before I saw the movies, I could see a crystal clear picture of the current setting in the story, without a visual right in front of me. I could go on and on about Harry Potter, but I think I'll keep it here for space.
3. I want to read at least a variety of 125 books by the start of the next school year.

1. I've read 5 books in the first half of 7th grade.
2. My favorite book I've read so far in 7th grade is Spirit Animals The Heart Of The Land (book 5, [the second book 5]). It's my favorite because it has a side love story to it. It also introduces a new adventure for the main characters.
3. My goal is to stay on that track but also read more in my spare time which I only do rarely.

I just want to say that there is a whole new world that they explore in the books. There is also lots of animals. If you like either of these things, I highly recommend the Spirit Animals book series.

2. My favorite book I've read so far is Yellow Flag, which is about racing. Even though I'm not really a fan of racing, I still enjoyed this book because it had relatable characters, it was suspenseful, and because it had a great plotline. I ended up reading a book by the same author that I enjoyed also.
3. I want to complete the 30 book challenge as my goal. We are halfway through the school year, and I'm not halfway to 30 yet. I think this goal is completely possible, but it will still be a little challenging.

2. My favorite book I have read so far was the book The Last Mile by David Baldacci I loved this book not only for it's interesting story but because the author does not have one bland or unfulfilled moment the more you read the farther you are latched on to the masterpiece of a book that I would recommend anyone up for a long and spectacular read. A summary or a little information about the book would be that it is a story about a young man who was ready to become an NFL star until his moment is taken away by the framing of his own parents murder to which he is sent to jail for 20 years and is sentenced to death penalty. This is just merely the introduction showing of how fantastic this book is.
3.I want to not only read more books than I did this half and try to reach the 30-40 mark but also try and challenge myself and try to read a book that would be a little more difficult

2. My favorite book I read this year is probably Orphan Island. It was about 9 children who lived on an island, and every so often a boat came, and took the oldest child and left a new one, normally at the age of 2-4. That is, until one girl breaks the rules and doesn't get off, which starts lot of chaos. What I really enjoyed about it is the book was left on a HUGE cliffhanger, which let me or any of the books readers to assume and think about it.

1. I have read almost four books in the first half of the year.
2. My favorite book that I've read this year is probably Homesick by Kate Clise. This is because the title is very deceiving for me at least. However, I'm not going to tell you how it is deceiving because that would spoil the book for you and I really shouldn't do that. Anyways, I also like this book because it kind of made you think about what would happen if you went through the same things that Benny (the main character) did. It also makes you thankful for what all you have.
3. My goal is to finish my current book, Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins (it is really good too) and read about four or five more books as well.

1) I, as I am a slow reader and choose somewhat long books, have only read about 5 books throughout the year.
2) My favorite book to read so far has been The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan. I love this book so much due to its unique set of main characters. There are three main characters, each with a different personality. They make for an interesting trio. I also love how the plot ties to the Percy Jackson series.

2. i think my favorite book was well, so you understand, I have just finished the series of " It Takes Two" And so far my favorite would be book 6, two steps back. its about two twins who are totally different, one likes football and the other likes well the opposite. So.... well I don't want to spoil it but I really like this book because its really mysterious and not too mysterious and plus they are both 7th graders too.
3. I want to read more of this types of books something that is a little adventure with a spice of mystery.
4.I have already started reading this one book called "Twintuition" its super nice I would like to start reading some Harry otter books.
