         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp;</div><div>1.</div><div>The legislative power rests with the government. This starts more or less at the&nbsp;</div><div>parliamentary committees (15+1) and from there on to the ministries (12 in the current government) who deal with matters during plenary sessions. It can be argued that legislative and executive powers are almost indistinguishable from another. In the end it is the 200-member parliament who vote on legislation and in theory the President will be the final body to approve (or send back) an act. In practice the President simply rubber stamps them.&nbsp;</div><div>The separately elected President (6-year term) is responsible for Finland’s foreign policy (together&nbsp;</div><div>with the minister) and is Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>2.&nbsp;</div><div>Different courts that independently decide on individual cases. Three distinctive divisions:&nbsp;</div><div>1. District -&gt; Appeal -&gt; Supreme courts (civil and criminal cases)</div><div>2. Administrative -&gt; Supreme administrative (administrative cases)</div><div>3. Market, Labour, Insurance, high court of impeachment courts (special courts)</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>3.&nbsp;</div><div>Strongly binding comes after the prime source of law;&nbsp;</div><div>written legislation. It can be described as established custom. Weakly binding is the next down the ladder. This is legislative draft and unfinished legislative material. Also court decision (case law) is one example. Permitted sources are those that do not have a connection to legal authority. &nbsp; Jurisprudence i.e.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>4.</div><div>Explain the following terminology&nbsp;</div><div>a. Legal personality = that what defines legal entity and capacity</div><div>b. Legal entity = defines the existence as either natural or artificial</div><div>c. Natural person / Legal person = private individuals / companies, foundations, municipalities.</div><div>d. Legal capacity = the circumstance the legal or natural person must be regarded in.</div><div>e. Contractual capacity and legal liability = bound by contract or agreement, or bound by law.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>6.</div><div>The central register for businesses. Establishment, changes (partners for instance), financial statements (for some) and closing down.</div><div>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
