It’s the UK’s biggest food festival. It is held annually in April or May in
Brighton.
The Foodies Festival makes for a great day out with your friends, with endless
things to do and dishes to try. Sample street food and try signature dishes from
top restaurants.
You’ll have the opportunity to meet celebrity chefs, learn to bake, learn to
barbecue from the experts, buy local products and enjoy live music.
And of course, there is nothing that British like more than a good cup of tea, so
it’s only fitting that this festival features a vintage tea tent where you can sit
down and enjoy some tea.

Marunada starts in October.The first celebrations fall on the share of the small town of Lovran, and the next weekend the festival breaks out in the villages of Dobrech and Ligan.The most interesting part of the holiday is the maroon tasting.Roasted chestnuts are most often prepared directly in the open air and then sold in paper bags. Local chefs also learned how to add Maroons to fish and meat,cook sauces and soups from them, and prepare salads. 
Even sweets are made from chestnuts - at the festival there are sweets made from them, mousses, cakes and even souffles. After all, the Croatian poor learned to extract flour from Maroons long ago,replacing it with ordinary flour.
