Our climate is good but the inconsistency effects the overall atmosphere.

Behavior at ACMS needs to have some adjustments. There are many students who know how to behave but because they are allowed to slide by... it becomes worse throughout the school. Ive seen 'bad' students. These students need to have consistent consequences and this school can be great.

Behaviors here are relative to behaviors at other middle schools what I see is need most is consistency in the consequences.

The Behavior can be better. The some students (Not all) do not follow the rules. Then some teachers do not follow policy and procedure.

Overall, most students are behaving but there are a handful that are consistently breaking rules and not following the rules during transition.

Delta: We need consistency with how the teachers and students interact. Rules need to be enforced and followed by Students.

I believe if we as a school were on the same playing feeling meaning being consistent in following the rules ie using right side of the hall; using inside voices in hallways; monitoring bathrooms; teachers at doors; am/pm duties being followed and so forth...change will happen.

The culture at the school is fairly good. Staff stepts in when they need to for each other. At times, I feel that the frustration of teachers filters over into this and the participation that is expected doesn't always meet the expectation.

A boost of morale would be great. It just that people have to buy into ti. The climate is well. We work together well despite some complaining.

For the most part the climate is good but the lack of consistency from teachers impacts the students behavior and performance.

Academics are ok. Some teachers need to updated grades on a regular basis instead of waiting until grades are due.

There are students who truly care even if they are straight A students or an average C student.

However, there are some that just seem to put in just enough to get by or if they fail they fail.

I think students know that passing the EOGs and especially elective courses are not important because they will pass anyway, which is true.

We should change our school-wide instructional focus to "Distributed Summarizing" with the intentional use of real-time data.

Schoolwide Implementation of Expectations

Everyone needs to STING every day.

Consistency needs to be addressed. So that the students and staff can be on the same sheet of music. This way there will be no misunderstanding.

We have good teachers and the potential to be a great school.

The lack of consisrtency in expectations thrawts what could make this school great.

Consistent Behavior Expectations – This continues to be an area of weakness that we need to keep working on. While efforts have been made, there is still room for improvement in ensuring that all students understand and follow clear and consistent expectations across all settings.

Staff Collaboration and Support – Collaboration among staff has been strong. For example, within our team, we have worked together to address student behavior concerns by holding meetings with parents and coordinating our efforts. Additionally, we have received support from administrators, which has been helpful in managing challenging situations effectively.

Academics are not consistent. Grades are not been updated on time. Students are complaining about assignments not being grade or not being taught.

PLUS: Collaboration Among Teachers – Teams are working together to align curriculum, share best practices, and support student learning.

Intervention Programs – Targeted support for struggling students is helping improve academic performance.

DELTA: Improving Student Accountability – Some students struggle with completing assignments on time and taking ownership of their learning.

Consistency with behavior management every day from everyone in the building.

PBIS Behavior Interventions (includes incentives/rewards/recognition), Teacher-managed interventions, etc.
