An innovative development in podcast listening, Bitcast allowed users to save audio from popular podcasts and create “best of” playlists. They could also enhance their clips with their own audio and share content with other users. Marcus Catsaras built out a qualified development team, raised capital, and launched two Bitcast variants during his 18 months with the company. A graduate of the Berklee College of Music with a bachelor of arts in film scoring, Mr. Catsaras currently serves as manager of the Cat’s Ass Studio, located two hours north of Sydney, Australia. In this role, he provides electronic and pop musicians with a variety of recording equipment and musical instruments. He has also assisted with the recording on several film scores. Outside of his work at the music studio, Marcus Catsaras engages in environmental advocacy and activism.
