When Over hand serving, hold the ball in you non-dominant hand, with your dominant hand in the air like you are about to smack it. Then, do the position shown below. Throw the ball up about 2 feet and wait until the ball is in range to hit. Then, swing your dominant hand to hit the ball. You should not hear a smacking sound. It should sound firm. Hit it with the bottom palm of your hand.

When doing under hand serving, hold the ball in your non-dominant hand. Then, put your dominant hand into a fist that exposes your wrist and bottom palm. make sure your arm is straight and swing your arm. As you are about to hit the ball, put the same foot as your non-dominant hand is, forward. Then swing your dominant hand and hit the ball.

To do a set, hold both hands just above your forehead. Put your hands in a diamond shape but put them far enough apart so you can see the ball coming. Be sure to be right under the ball. The right foot is a step behind you, thus giving you more power so the ball can g up more and closer to your target. As the ball approaches your face, raise your hands and have the ball touch your finger pads. Raise the ball up or to the side in the direction you want it to go. Make sure the sound isn't too loud because if it is your doing it wrong and need to hit it with your finger pads.

Bumps/Passing Pt.1 (Ways to hold hands)

When passing, there are 2 ways you can hold your hands. 1. Take your left hand and put it on top of your right (hand both hands facing up) Then fold your thumbs on top of them. Make sure your thumbs aren't over top each other. They need to be side by side. 2. Put your left hand into a fist, then wrap your right hand around it and put your thumbs on top. Again your thumbs can't be over lapping. I recommend doing #1. It is the easiest as shown below.

Create a platform with your arms. Bend your legs almost as if you are squatting, do this so it is easier to move to where the ball is going to. Move to the ball so that it will come down squarely in front of you. Hit the ball with both arms, use the space just below your wrists to hit the ball with. Pass the ball to your target. Keep your eye on the ball even after you bump it.

Spiking a volleyball entails forcefully striking the ball toward the floor on your opponent's side of the net. You wait for the setter to set the ball near the net, then approach the ball, jump, and go in for the "kill." If the ball hits the floor before the other team can hit it back, your team gets a point.
