Making a partial payment is not considered a payment plan. Click “Enroll in Payment Plan” to set up the plan and sign the payment contract.

Schedule a meeting with your assigned certified advisor months in advance or even same-day. Each session is 30 minutes, or 1 hour if it's your first meeting.

• Full Term (16-Week) – Traditional semester-length course.

• Start II (14-Week) – A slightly shorter full-length course (14 weeks).

• Flex I & II (8-Week) – Accelerated courses covering full-term material in half the time. Flex I runs in the first half of the semester, Flex II in the second.

• Maymester (MM) – A fast-paced 3 week course between spring and summer. May not be covered by financial aid.

• Wintermester (WM) – A fast-paced 3 week course between fall and spring. May not be covered by financial aid.

Credits apply automatically after financial aid for courses in your degree or certificate program.

Check your ACES email for eligibility updates from your advisor.

Taking courses outside your official degree plan may reduce your financial aid, requiring you to pay out-of-pocket.

To receive financial aid, you must follow your degree plan or Individual Success Plan set by your Certified Advisor. If a course is not listed, financial aid will not cover it.

Three-Peat (Third Attempt) Tuition: A higher tuition is charged for courses attempted three or more times at any Texas public institution.

6-Drop Rule: Students can drop a maximum of 6 courses. After 6 drops, grades are assigned to all courses. Drops before census do not count, with some exemptions.

• In-Person Classes: Students must physically attend at least once.

• Online Classes: Students must log in and complete the required first-week activity.

PAC must be your home school, and you must be enrolled. The first ID is free; replacements cost $10.

Co-Requisite (Co-Req) courses pair a college-level class with a support class to help you succeed while earning college credit.

Both are important for building the skills you need to succeed in college.

Failing to pass with a "C" or higher will place a hold on your account, blocking future registration. These courses are crucial for your success, so take them seriously!

The Priority Date for Continuing Students is May 1, 2026

Students are encouraged to submit financial aid applications before each date listed above, in order to be guaranteed review for AlamoPROMISE eligibility. Applications received after that date are considered as space is available.
