Jojoba and grapeseed oil are good choices, but olive oil (opt for the lighter kind) will work in a pinch. (Reynjan Nino Ladra)<br><br>Step 3:<br>Crush, shred or "bruise" a cup of rose petals and place in the oil. Swirl the jar around to coat the petals, but don't shake. When the water cools, you can move the jar to a warm area like a sunny windowsill. (Gabrielle Meijas)<br><br>Step 5:<br>Leave the jar alone in the warm area for at least 24 hours.<br>Strain the oil through a cheesecloth, pressing the petals to extract as much oil as you can.<br>If you want a stronger-smelling oil, you can repeat steps 1-6 with fresh petals.          <description><![CDATA[<div>STEP 1: -Harvesting: (Alannah Madison S. Cabang) Choose a time when the lavender flowers are fully bloomed and the plant is dry. Harvest the lavender bunches by cutting them close to the base of the plant.<br><br>STEP 2: -Drying: (Rebekah Maryanna S. Tacandong) Hang the harvested lavender bunches upside down in a cool, dark, and well-ventilated area such as a garage or a drying room. Allow the lavender to dry completely for approximately two to three weeks, or until the flowers feel crisp and break apart easily.<br><br>STEP 3: -Stripping: (Chloe Carmel S. Destua) Once the lavender is dried, strip the flowers from the stems by running your fingers along the stem in the opposite direction of the flowers. Collect the flowers in a clean container, discarding any leaves or stems.<br><br>STEP 4: -Crushing: (Rayne Maxcell R. Duay) Place the stripped lavender flowers in a mortar and gently crush them using a pestle. This will help release the essential oils from the flowers.<br><br>STEP 5: -Distillation: (Tiffany Sugar T. Autor) There are several methods for lavender oil distillation, but the most common is steam distillation. You can use a distillation apparatus or a DIY setup called a steam distillation kit. In this process, the crushed lavender flowers are placed in a still with water. When heated, steam passes through the flowers, vaporizing the essential oil. The steam containing the essential oil is then condensed, and the oil and water are separated.<br><br>STEP 6: -Separation: (Alannah Madison S. Cabang) Once the distillation process is complete, the essential oil will float on the surface of the water. Use a separation funnel or a pipette to carefully collect the essential oil, being cautious not to pick up any water or impurities.<br><br>STEP 7: -Filtering: (Tiffany Sugar T. Autor) To remove any remaining impurities, filter the collected essential oil through a fine mesh or a coffee filter. This will ensure that the final product is pure and free of any debris.<br><br>STEP 8: -Storage: (Chloe Carmel S. De hulling is completed when the seed has a moisture content of&nbsp; 5% after cleaning. Roque</div><div><br></div><div><strong>OIL REFINING AND PROCESSING<br></strong><br></div><ul><li>Extracted and desolventized sunflower oil should be further processed to create an edible product. Edible oils are refined to develop the flavour, odour, colour and solidity using processes that degum, neutralize, bleach and deodorize the oil. These oil refining processes eliminate contaminants such as phosphatides, free fatty acids, and pro-oxidants.</li><li>Further processing of sunflower oil and fats is sometimes de4sired. Some oils are winterized or dewaxed and some are modified to differ melting characteristics. By-products can be more processed to create value-added products or reduce costs.</li><li>The final stage involves deodorizing the oil bypassing the steam over hot oil placed in a vacuum at temperatures between 225 C and 250 C. This allows the volatile components steady for the taste and odour to evaporate from the oil. One percent citric acid is added to the oil to inactivate some trace metals present, thus preventing oxidation within the oil, thereby prolonging the shelf life of the oil.</li></ul><div>Step 8: Rue Mayelle S. Bajao</div><div><br></div><div><strong>PACKING THE OIL<br></strong><br></div><div>Pure oil is measured or packed in clean containers, and the usual ones are bottles for domestic sales in specialty stores, or cans for exports.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

Then rinse it with clean water to prevent dirt.</p><p><br></p><p>(Renzo) Step 3:Okay step 3 you have to put the lily petals in a clear glass and cover the petals in carrier oil or almond oil. Make sure petals are submerged and seal it tightly. Leave it for 2 days.</p><p><br></p><p>(Christelle) Step 4:After that process filter the oil using a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth to separate the petals from the oil.
