         <description><![CDATA[<div>UG update&nbsp;<br>4 objectives&nbsp;<br>1. Intercultural- field trips SMM research conference- UG no teaching last week of semester 2<br>Apt meeting - links to placements<br>2. Improve DHLE - problem of graduate level jobs. Bring in PG team to talk about options. Needs to reflect HR role titles.<br>3. Student forums - taking more control of the data to get feedback&nbsp;<br>4. Placements - need to give students more confidence.&nbsp;<br><br><br>Concerns with Advantage modules - more info on this issue from student forum. Feed this into Jason about student experience about enrolment&nbsp;<br><br>PG UPDATE<br>CQEM<br>1. Ethos of new course design - PTES report is a focus<br>2. Mobility - increase field trips. Italy conference<br><br>Krish - varied experiences across the modules<br>Intense experience - need to revisit time constraints&nbsp;<br>Issues of looking at journal articles.<br><br>CMI module - some concerns about content and duplication.&nbsp;<br>Students expected to create learning journey - referred to models etc.<br>Still issues wiTh enrolment - lack of access to Moodle etc. Dealt with By Registry teams.<br>Cross delivery teaching team is working.<br>Have had some good feedback.<br>Semester 2 numbers are being looked at.<br>All material on Moodle.<br><br><br>5. QA&nbsp;<br>Training on Nov 9th about Quality stuff<br>S2 and 3 modules need to be bought to that meeting<br>Share point issues were discussed<br>Need to label coursework with Coventry and save as PDF to stop students selling these on sites.<br>UG MIDs need review - plan to hold meeting to look at these to use KUALI. People will be invited.<br>This will conform to what is current about course learning outcomes.<br>Before Christmas&nbsp;<br><br>7. APT<br>APT drop in sessions- need to introduce themselves.<br>need to be shared out across UG and PG level&nbsp;<br>Allocations - need more clarity.<br>Emphasis on the BIG WHITE WALL - please advertise it.<br><br>8. PG DIP UPDATE<br>Assesssment issues&nbsp;<br>Combining it with MA and Intermediate<br>Tactical solution - also looking at where we can develop the course to drive up numbers.<br>NW ND to write a business plan - a new product for 2017.<br>Aim to increase recruitment.<br>Need to understand unique selling point for the course.<br><br>9. PG RECRUITMENT&nbsp;<br>good story on UG<br>Less good on PG HRM.<br>Problems with the website and prospectus for MA Top up. And the MA &amp; MSC.<br>Also with the UG programme as well.<br>Jan starts for MA &amp; MSC? Has it been timetabled.<br>Need to look at the MA and MSC in terms of recruitment - usp and attract more students. New courses as well?<br>Andre to organise a meeting to look at these issues - one or two brainstorming sessions.<br><br>8. Added value events<br>7th Nov - 1-5. All SMM PG students - to take part in sporty type activity.<br>Dodgeball!!<br>Produce a coat of arms<br>HR Leaders event Wed 9th Nov<br>Link to placement employers<br><br>9. AOB<br>Observations - link to Uni education and learning strategy.<br>Need to share best practice to learn from each other.<br>Email Gary evidence of something that falls in these categories.
