-clearing all unnessicary tabs and possible distractors eg: online stories,games
-set a timer for the general amount of time to be spended on the task
-if researching,search specifically
-do not spend time on ads
-if watching video on youtube,avoid ads by either skipping them,or turning on ad-blocking features in youtube
