Wanting to raise questions as he believes that art serves that purpose and to make art available to everyone and anyone. Currently working at WOAW Gallery, a gallery that aligns itself with the goal of making art available for everyone and anyone this has him to learn in depth of what makes a show successful, the importance of networking and being tactful. 

As someone who is also deeply interested in fashion, he spend most of his time reading up on fashion trends and dwelling into forecasting of what is on the up and up; and how certain genres of music, readings and happening have paved the way for certain trends to make its way up. This ties itself nicely too being in a gallery space.

A graduate of Singapore Repertory Theatre’s Arts Management Residency Programme in 2021, she has also been involved in projects such as organising for Nam Hwa Blazes (3rd Year Anniversary Celebration) in 2019 and LASALLE’s Rock and Indie Festival (RIF) in 2023. 

Graduated with Diploma in Business Management in Nanyang Polytechnic has been a base of Nadia's management skills. However, she would love to elevate herself by pursuing Arts Management in LASALLE so that she could joined both her skills and interest in her future career paths.

She is an effective leader with excellent time management skills who strongly believes in teamwork and mutual communication. Her modules in BA(Hons) Arts Management and experiences from volunteering as a Production Manager and Front of House Personnel for both school based and non-school based projects has also equipped her with the skills and knowledge that an Arts Manager requires.

She has an immense passion for the arts and have volunteered for various types of arts events such as Singapore Night Festival 2019 and iLight Festival 2019. She undertook Front-of-House duties and that has allowed her to learn skills such as interacting with patrons. When doing administrative work for events, she has learned how to liaise with other departments such as Marketing and Finance, and to deal with stakeholders or sponsors. She definitely has the passion and shows interest to be part of Singapore’s multi-faceted arts scene.

Outside of school, she is also talented photographer at hand and manages her own photography company - TwoDots Photography.

 

Besides her training in theatre production, she is also passionate about the visual art industry especially commercial art gallery and the art market. She is currently exploring possibilities in artwork appraisal and hopefully she is able to run her own gallery which presents quality artwork and provide a platform for young artists with potential to showcase their works.

 

A native Beijing, China, Molin is fluent in Mandarin and English with an equivalent reading and writing skill of B1 in Spanish as well. She is capable to work under pressure and keep calm under stressful situations. 

She also enjoys connecting with different individuals and is always open to exchanging ideas. In her spare time, Chermaine enjoys listening to true crime podcasts and researching unsolved mysteries.

As the marketing IC of the RIF festival, she has curated and worked with designers to promote the RIF festival.

She plans to use her experiences and skillsets to promote, educate and grow Singaporean's appreciation for classical music. Ever since young, classical music has always been her passion and hobby. She continue to play the cello because she admires and appreciate the beauty, meaning and emotions displayed within each piece of music. In her career, she hopes to help new and current audiences to do the same. 

Prior to joining the Arts Management degree, Carla was a project manager at Yoroshiku Fantastic, and a Post-production Supervisor at DERYL Films. There, she worked on both commercial advertising projects, as well as documentaries for companies such as NHK, Japan’s national broadcasting station. In Singapore, Carla also worked for Gajah Gallery, one of Singapore's biggest private galleries. There, she assisted the team in the handling of artworks, the writing of materials and design of exhibition materials. Recently, Carla was the team leader for ARTWALK 2023, where she was responsible for managing the festival timeline & budget, liaising with stakeholders, social media marketing strategies and co-curating Common Thread, an exhibition staged as part of the ARTWALK 2023 programming.

As a project manager and a curator in-the-making, Carla is a strong advocate for workplace inclusivity, particularly for neurodivergent people. When she’s not working, Carla can frequently be found at home playing competitive tetris.

With an interest in events management, she has also been involved in ad hoc work with Studio 29 for events such as the Barter Market at ACM that was curated for 2021’s Light to Night Festival.  

Having freelanced for the past 2 years and experienced as a personal assistant, she has honed great interpersonal skills and navigates obstacles with adaptability.

Being on the lookout for new experiences and insights, her inspirations range from everyday encounters, our local landscapes, to cultures beyond our borders.
