In this period of emergency in which we are all in quarantine, I had the time to reflect on what surrounds me, on nature, on family affections, I have understood how important all these things are for me. Not having much to do in this period I realized I could do things that I thought I couldn't have done like gardening or paper jobs or housework.

"I think we all have to stay at home today to have the possibility to exchange big hugs tomorrow"

(This sentence was said by our Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte).

                           BY Lorenzo Marzaro

In this period of emergency, I had time to think, open my soul and understand many things.
Before I considered my everyday life as monotonous and ordinary, now I would give everything for those little things!
My school immediately gave us the possibility to follow the video lessons to continue with the school program.
All of this is helping us a lot, but it is also true that a video can never substitute the school environment.
In my opinion, school is a unique, irreplaceable environment, capable of uniting many people and preparing us about life.
I hope this bad period will end soon because I really miss my relatives, friends and my school.
-By Carmen Laveglia.

The pandemic caused by Covid-19 is an unprecedented historical event. The whole world is experiencing it with anxiety, fear and asking questions which remain with no answers. Suddently our life has changed, the simplest habits have been banned totally. We've found ourselves living the present within the walls of the house, uncertain about the future. It is difficult to live like this, we use technology to reduce the distance from friends and relatives, but for many it is not enough !
We are all afraid but we are strong and we will all come out from this situation as winners.

The coronavirus pandemic is certainly an experience that will mark us for life.
If someone had told me a few months ago that an epidemic would come, I would never have believed it, nobody would have expected all of this.
We are all closed in our own homes, far from our loved ones, but paradoxically we are all closer, now, because we are united by a tragic situation that is actually unprecedented. Social networks also contribute to uniting the various houses, and I, in my own small way, have decided to collaborate by making video tutorials for the little ones. Every day, in fact, we have published on Instagram, through an association of guys in my village, Caggiano, small experiments and creations to entertain whoever watches them.
I also learned to cook during this quarantine, and in turn with my sisters, we prepare dinner for our parents, but it's not just about cooking food, but this is also an opportunity to strengthen the relationships I had with my family . We are also doing online lessons, a more difficult teaching method than the normal classroom lesson because there is no direct interaction between teachers and pupils; however it is certainly more comfortable to wake up 10 minutes earlier and follow the lessons in pajamas, while before we had to wake up very early in the morning to get to school on time. So there are also beautiful things in being closed in the house, you just have to discover them. It is difficult, of course, because suddenly we saw our life change, but after all they are asking us to stay at home and do nothing, and if they had asked us to go to war, what would we have done? We would definitely regret these days, so we just have to learn to appreciate what we have and be confident in the future. It will not last for ever. We are saving the world, without weapons or injuries, but on the sofa wearing our slippers.~Sabrina Lupo

In this period of sanitary emergency we are forced to stay home to preserve our health. During this quarantine with a volunteer association I made, together with 16 other friends, videos to entertain children and making games that were used both to have fun and to teach and making them we also had fun staying at home, because in this period staying home is essential. But I also found that I miss the school environment and my classmates. This period is very strange and however it ends soon and everything goes well.
By Giuseppina Blancone
