The artifact I made for this tool was an example notebook if I utilized Notability daily. On the left side, I explored the calendar template that was given by Notability. In the calendar, I used the highlighter feature, the pen feature, the color-changing ink feature, the text box feature, the photo import feature, and the pencil feature. All of these tools allow the calendar to be colorful, neat, and practical. The features are very easy to use, and having a calendar that is consistently editable is a plus. The second page that I created was an example prompt for an English class. I was able to practice with the highlighter tool, the shape tool, and the pen tool, to make the homework easy to understand. All of these features make Notability user-friendly and good for students to use for their work.

I really enjoyed this application. Google Keep allows you to consolidate all your notes in one place, along with reminders, checklists, and images. While working on my artifact, I included my to-do list, reminders of upcoming assignments, notes for various classes, and some fun images to make it visually appealing. I believe this may be the most useful tool I have used from Google, and I plan to implement it into my day-to-day life. If I were to use this in a classroom setting, I would encourage students to keep all their notes in the app, along with a checklist of assignments and reminders. I think this provides students with the ability to stay organized and visualize their upcoming work.

Overall this application was incredibly beneficial from a presentation and creation perspective. With this being one of the first times I've used the application, I can confidently say that I will be using this more often!

As I learned more and more about Canva, I quickly saw some of the major advantages Cava produces over PowerPoint. Cava allows me to quickly create a very visually appealing presentation. In my opinion, Cava is a much better application to use for someone that is not so technologically advanced because it does so much of the heavy lifting for you. It provides layouts, illustrations, and many more great tools to help you conduct a strong presentation.

When conducting a presentation or a learning lesson for students, a presentation that utilizes videos, photos, and interactive learning are of the utmost importance to ensure students keep their attention which is not always easy. In my quick example, I created a Canva about the importance of exercise. In the example, there are illustrations created by Canva and some quick explaining pictures that tell the benefits of exercise, easy at-home exercises, and ways to make time for your exercise. I think a presentation like this is a great way to efficiently convey a message to students.

          I believe that the most useful feature is the highlight tool. I like being able to physically highlight the information that I think is important. This helps me remember information better. The comment feature also is helpful because it leaves the comments in the margins, thus does not liter the page. The textbox and drawing feature could be useful in certain situations, but I feel like in my case, when I take notes usually, I type all the important information into the initial document.

        One thing that I really liked about this platform was the ability to start a note page from scratch or use one of the already made templates. Kami has templates for a variety of style of notes: Cornell Notes, writing templates (geared towards younger students), Venn Diagrams, and graph/grid paper. Each of these templates is beneficial depending on the type of notes you are taking. In order to explore all the features, I decided to start a page from scratch.

         However, one downside that I came across is that some of the features are only included if you pay for the pro plan. These features include inserting images, reading aloud, and dictionary.

I also learned more in depth about the insights tab, I completed my own test assessment and then read through the insights of the assessment responses. Google forms gives a summary of the answers, provides the questions that were assessed, and shows individual student or surveyed individuals responses. All of these tools allow for a deeper understanding of the scope and grasp of the content provided, or shows a trend in surveying answers. Also included in the insights tab are multiple graphs depending on the type of question asked. Google forms will take the data and answers collected and automatically apply it into graphs that it thinks the data fits into. In my sample assessments case google forms took the data and filtered it into bar graphs. You can also take the data and change how you would like to view it, for example you could make a pie chart to see the data differently. Google forms also links the data to a google sheet where you can further look at data statistics and regression models if that type of insight is sought after or required.

What I find so useful about this technology is that it encrypts your notes so that they are completely private. In my Marketing data privacy class that I am in, I learned how important it is to keep our information private and not accessible to all of these software companies. Technology is essential, but we have the right to privacy, so it is nice that standard notes is able to encrypt our notes and data. Much like other notes apps, standard notes allows you to flag important notes, make folders, and include links and images in your notes. It pretty much mimics the Apple Notes app yet all of your information is private. This would be a good place to put passwords, medical information, and anything else that you wouldn't feel comfortable be on the internet.  I will probably use it for those types of information in the future to ensure that my data and notes are safe.
