         <description><![CDATA[<div>Using technology to help one another learn the foundations of cognitive, language and literacy development is very useful as a resource that can be constantly referred back to when necessary. One downside is that we are not gaining the long-term memory skills by dividing the sections.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Pros: easy access of information, like graphs and charts<br>Cons: technology isn't always reliable, and malfunctions occur.  Also, students may not know how to use certain technology.<br><br>Collaboration:<br>Pros: students can learn to work together with new people.  Also, the responsibility of acquiring the info falls into students' hands, and must learn to work together to reach the desired goal. <br>Cons: Some students may not like each other, and there may be "bad blood" with students. Also, some students may have difficulty communicating with others for a number of reasons.<br><br>Critical thinking:<br>Pros: similar to collaboration; students must work together, and it's their responsibility to find information, compared to teacher just presenting information.<br>Cons: some students may not work hard enough, or are just lazy, and may cause problems with other students because they aren't doing their part.<br><br>Peer support: <br>Falls along the lines of critical thinking and collaboration pros and cons.<br><br>Presenting:<br>Pro: similar to collaboration and critical thinking.<br><br><br>Review of previous information:<br><br>Pros: great way to recall memory.<br>Cons: none I can think</div>]]></description>

         <title>Jigsaw Critique </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The jigsaw exercise was a creative way of making reviewing fun. It provided a way for students to support each other, and it required little to no technology (which is great for schools with low resources). Critical thinking can be implemented depending on the questions. The jigsaw itself that helps facilitate the activity is a great way to get shy students involved, and provide direction within groups so students use the time efficiently (rather than use this as an excuse for friendly talk). </div>]]></description>
