Good day and welcome!

You may think that due to my greeting, I must know German, or perhaps, have German heritage. That couldn’t be far off from the truth! I am a proud Texan with roots in Mexico and a passion for German. I did not say much when I was asked to introduce myself and thus, you may think of me as quiet and reserved, but if you take the time to get to know me, you will find out I have much share. There is more to me than meets the eye, but in time, you shall get to know me.

This bio may seem too brief and vague, but it is in this way that, I hope, will allow one to want to get to know me in person rather than through a computer screen. That being said, a bio is made to tell you a little about myself. I believe one can realize who I am by closely reading what I wrote.

A restaurant would be considered universal as only you receive one meal for the price you pay. It is very structured. In a buffet, though, you can get more than one meal for the price you pay. You can get whatever you want, when you want. There is less structure. The second example compares Austin, universal, and Fredericksburg, particular. Austin is more universal as relationships with people seemed to be distanced. City choices are more impersonal and based on rules. A German officer during WWII, Wilhelm aided Jews and Poles in the occupation of Warsaw. He rejected the collective traitorous ideals of the Third Reich and instead followed his own individual beliefs. Individualism can be bad though as it can lead to loneliness and isolation if taken to an extreme. Communitarianism can allow people to work together for the common defense, such as the school of fish defeating a single fish. In Mexico, private life in on display and part of making a living, thus making it diffused. In the U.S, work and home is not only metaphorically separated, but also literally. A short story would be specific as it is strait to the point. A short poem, though, is not direct or easy to relate to. In my example, both are the same scenario, but in the poem it is not obvious. They expect me to have girlfriend sometime while I am young. There is no set age, but it is said once you are 30, you're done. Higher education is increasingly sequential as the time you spend in college is thought of as time spent preparing you to be marketable instead of pursuing passions.
