The Writs of Assistance was another one of Britain's acts passed in 1760. First of all, the act allowed British Soldiers to charge anyone they want for smuggling with no evidence or jury which was not fair. Then, colonists would get very upset because soldiers would unfairly trial them. Lastly, the colonists end up having to obey laws so they are not falsely accused. That is an overview of the Writs of Assistance.
