This submarine was armed with torpedoes or mines attached to their sides. Only two of the five midget submarines were able to make it on to the harbor. This attack killed more than 2,300 people. At the time of the attack Pearl Harbor lacked a permanent radio station. The first atomic bomb was invented by J.Robert Oppenheimer. Then scientists from Los Alamos developed distinct types of atomic bombs. One of them was named "Little Boy", the other one was called "the Fat Man". The "Little Boy" was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan. The "Fat Man" was dropped on Nagasaki, Japan. The Germans were going to surprise attack Belgium. They were going undercover and radio silence at night. The Germans and the US army were fighting to get any property the could. The war wouldn't end until the weather was good for Americans to send their aircrafts and bomb and strafe Germans positions.
