I found his practices to be particularly interesting, as he did many things considered to be "out-of-the-norm" and had several unique approaches to managing his team and company.

I mainly thought this cartoon about management was entertaining and a bit silly. In management, especially on a larger scale such as managements within global organizations, there are various levels of operations and a need for approval on each level or each advancement. This cartoon depicts the stereotype that management never approves ideas that employees think are "good", and the doubt that employees have when creating a project that could potentially run well.

I found this BigThink video to be very interesting; Adam Bryant introduces the idea of being CEO and how it is portrayed, and he proceeds to go into depth about the "paradoxical" qualities that a CEO must possess in order to be successful. These qualities include characteristics that may seemingly contradict each other, yet are completely achievable. These aspects go into the decision-making of CEOs and how they are successful or unsuccessful as a result.

This helped me further understand the "trick" behind what sets an effective CEO apart from others; making disciplined and well-planned decisions that stand miles ahead rather than what sounds plausible or rewarding in the moment.
