Although it is difficult to practice, the video is very helpful for our development in English pronunciation.

Do you plan to allow those standards (from the videos) to your daily conversation? Why?

● No, because it will be easier to learn the basics of the American accent first because it is commonly used and also usually the British accent takes longer to master.

An introduction that presents your answers related to step no 2

●In our analysis of the videos on British English sound production, we discovered valuable insights into the pronunciation of diphthongs, vowels, and consonants. Our group found the videos to be particularly useful and accessible for students, despite the challenges in practicing the techniques demonstrated. While we recognize the benefits of mastering British pronunciation, we believe that starting with the American accent is more practical for daily conversation. This approach aligns with the common usage of American English, making it easier for us to communicate effectively.

Body paragraphs that explain the potential difficulties faced by you in learning sounds production in English.

● Learning sound production in English, particularly consonants, presents several challenges. One of the most difficult aspects is mimicking the precise tongue positioning required for sounds like [t] in "tea." This sound demands a specific articulation where the tongue touches the roof of the mouth, which can feel unnatural for learners accustomed to different phonetic systems. Additionally, the subtleties of aspiration in consonants can further complicate accurate production. Practice requires not only listening but also focused physical effort, making it a demanding aspect of mastering English pronunciation.

A conclusion that summarizes your insights

●In conclusion, the production of consonants, vowels and diphthongs involves a combination of different movements of the organs of articulation, as well as differences in the way airflow is controlled within the vocal cavity. Consonants involve more blockage or resistance, while vowels and diphthongs are freer, although diphthongs involve moving from one vowel position to another.
