         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Planning Phoenixes will be a group that each student at KEYS High School is able to be a part of at some point during their time at school. The group will consist of 5-15 students who are juniors or seniors in high school. The goal of the group is to help students become more knowledgeable about possible careers after high school.</div>]]></description>

During this meeting, parents/guardians have the option to opt-out of the group. When the student approaches the time that they would be put into a group, I will send home a consent form with student and by email to parent/guardian's email if they would like to change their mind and have their student participate in the group.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>KEYS is a small high school that is more like a family than the traditional high school. Students know all faculty and staff members and know that they are there to assist them. Relationships have already been formed with each student at the school. At the beginning of each meeting, the counselor will read a statement to remind students that what is said in the meeting stays in the meeting. During the first meeting, the group norms will be discussed and students will discuss if anything else needs to be added. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The group will be formed with the knowledge of students who get along well together and students that do not. Student who do not get along with each other will not be placed in the group at the same time. Group members will share their Google folder with the counselor and the counselor will check-in on their Google folder to make sure the student is progressing through the group and no re-teach is needed.</div>]]></description>

Students may also realize that they are not alone in not knowing how to research careers and what educational requirements each career requires.<br><br>Existential Factors: Students may start to realize that we are responsible for our own actions. Each student is responsible for their actions and determining which career path they want to go with. Parents/ Guardians cannot determine what career path a student should go down.</div>]]></description>
