<title>integrating HRBAD seems quite impossible, too much expectations. How can a partner answer to all these challenges ? a HRBAD analysis can discourage any partner to go through this approach...</title>

<title>Tkx for this presentation. To concretize a bit the MEET principles I think it&#39;s useful wen designing a program to refer to the specific recommendations of the UN or Regional Human Rights Institutions (eg : the Human Rights Committee, the Committee on ESC Rights, the Committee on the Rights of Children, etc.) and the many concrete recommendations of the Special Rapporteurs. Those are valuable information to holds durty bearers accountable.</title>

<title>Social movements play an important role in this regard, as they tend to reach out to and organise people in vulnerable conditions in societies. Moreover, this has the advantage of collective empowerment and therefore collective action. Groups do find it seasier to stand up for their rights, compared to individuals (espacially those who are very exposed to multiple vulnerabilities). </title>

<title>How we frame concepts is super important. CSOs and groups from the global south have long argued that Intl. Cooperation actors don´t &quot;build capacities&quot; - as that implies a baseline where capacities do no exist. Capacities are there and all the groups we aim to support do have many capacities to address their problems and needs and struggle for their rights, already before our projects target them... &quot;Capacity strengthening&quot; is a more fair concept. Besides, in many cases our target groups are already empowered as well, just lack the material means (in many cases just economic, but also protection/safety, access to intl. mechanisms, etc.) to advance their struggles. Very, very important to carefully frame all these concepts. Greetings from PI.</title>

<title>Both for meaningful participation and accountability, it is important to to acknowledge and promote the narrative of meaningful and structural interaction between 3 key stakeholders in any given society: the state, the private (for profit) sector and civil society. The study now speaks of &#39;accessible mechanisms&#39;; in research undertaken by HIVA, a call is made for institutionalised forms of dialogue where these 3 actors can effectively interact with one another on issues of key interest to society. <title>During certain exchanges with the duty bearer of our partner countries on the concept, some regret that the mention of certain obligations of the right holders (ex: peaceful and non-violent demonstrations, ...) is not recalled. Doesn&#39;t certain applications of this approach sometimes risk fostering opposition between HR and DB rather than promoting dialogue? </title>
