Thank you for being vulnerable in front of us. For being real with us. For being passionate about this cause. For being a great role model to us. For not being afraid to push us. For showing us that you care everyday. For dealing with all the bullshit. For handling all the issues that come your way. For helping us be better for our kids. For taking on this job this summer. I can't imagine any one better to remind us day after day of the reason we are here. It has been an honor to work alongside you, and we'll carry your words into our classroom this coming Fall and for the rest of our teaching career. Thank you so much!

Dear Juan, from the first moment I met you at the institute, before we even spoke one on one, I knew I was in the presence of a great leader who had a long bright path of affecting more lives for the better in the days and years to come. Everyday since that moment - at both highs and even what can be previeved as stressful such as my butt missing the bus left and right - I just see more and more evidence for that first impression I got from you: Intellectual, good hearted and visionary leaders like you are what the world needs more than ever.
