For example, when we consider which type of smart phone industry is better, we usually decide from someone's recommendation or their adequate experience. These are emotion that increase our pathos. Some people might think that logic is better, however, I believe that logic can reduce the actual thought in our mind, also it might be looks hard and bore. One example is, when we see some advertisement that shows a lot of number how many people bought this, which will not effective our actual expression that wants to buy this because the logic is basically let us to see only consequences, not a other strong evidence like an emotion.
