This generation speaks up and does not stay quiet about important issues in our society. We value ourselves and others, but make sure to keep our mental health a priority.

My parents are both immigrants that have been in the USA for a long time. I grew up with my older sister and younger brother, but in total I have four siblings. I have two older siblings that are a lot older than I am.

Our generation has grown up with access to the internet. Everything has always just been a click away.

Receiving news from a social media platform was more common than watching the news or reading a newspaper.

Platform for people to speak up and influence others on political issues.

Not only that, technology has allowed us to be more connected to each other. We can quickly communicate across long distances.

Education (Public School)

Schools have a set curriculum on what they are supposed to teach us which forces some things to be censored.

We receive a more American version of history and events. This can be viewed as positive and negative. Positive because we are able to better understand the American side, but negative because the other side is not mentioned in the same way.

Going to a public school rather than a private school or even home schooled as been a factor because I am able to interact with different types of people.

Personally, I am on Tik Tok or Instagram all the time. Posts that I see influence the way I think. I feel like it has grown to become a source of information for me. I find things out from those platforms. Not only that, there are influencers I like to keep up with that also influence my opinions.
