Reason for the War: Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite were fighting over a golden apple, this apple was the be given “to the fairest”.  A guy names Paris had to choose who to give the apple to and he choose Aphrodite because she offered love. Aphrodite made Helen, the Queen of Sparta, fall in love with Paris. Because Helen left her husband, Menelaus, the king of Spartan, for some other guy, the king got all the kings and princes of Greece to start a war against Troy
