The students will be given roles in groups to make sure everyone has a job and can participate:  Discussion Director, Word Master/Vocabulary, Evidence collector, Summarize/Presenter

After posting information on post-its, we then categorized them by on task behaviors and off task behaviors.

We looked at the behaviors and agree that students will continue working on collaborative groups for the next cycle.

We also looked at the surveys that students took on how they saw themselves working in groups and how they saw the group as a whole.  The positive outcome was that the majority of students see collaboration as a good strategy to continue to use as a way of learning.  We will continue to work on planning the next cycle of OI with collaboration as the focus.  We also have used this topic as our PDP goals.
