In my life, I think I don’t have any personal achievement. I don’t have any talent. Therefore, I will talk about the activities that I had participated in high school.

In high school, I was a member of Chinese Orchestra. When I was senior three, our orchestra decided to participate a nationwide Chinese Orchestra Competition. We go to the capital city for the competition and we won the gold prize. There are 21 teams of participants, and we successfully advance to 8 best.

This is my first time to participate competition with my orchestra. And it also my last time to participate it, because I am already a senior three student. This competition is important to me. I remember that we spend a lot of time for practices. It just a few months to prepare it. We are so stressed before the competition, but at the end, we did it.

This is a big achievement in my life. 

I cannot imagine that Wim Hof can ran a marathon without a shirt in -29℃ temperature. In winter at Taiwan, 18℃ make me feel a little bit cold but feel so well. I cannot imagine what I will be if I stay in a -29℃ place and without shirt! Wim Hof must be a miraculous man.

Actually I do not understand so much about what David Blaine doing in “Electrified: One Million Volts Always On”. Is it he stay in electric for many hours? But it looks so cool. It must be a challenges that only he can do it, no one can do like that, even try a lot of other ways. I worship David Blaine so much because he will continue to set high goals for himself and to push himself to do incredible. Even if I do not interesting in magic, but his spirit deserve us to learn it.

In Unit 2, we talk about superheroes and children. A lot of children love superheroes very much, some of them even treat superhero as their moral pillars or spiritual props in their life. I extremely endorse that superheroes can bring positive effect and proactive image to children. But sometimes, some children like to mimic their favorite superheroes let me feel disgust, maybe I have some prejudice regarding children. They will over believe in superheroes, even though there are not logic at all. In a nutshell, superheroes can be a role model to children but they have to distinguish the difference between comic book and reality.

The first method to mitigate stress is exercise. When you feel stressed, you can go to a park and walking, cycling, jogging or do whatever exercise you like. Dancing at home also a good choice. When you are doing exercise, your mind and body will be relaxed. Putting physical stress on your body through exercise is a nice way to combat your stress.

Furthermore, spend time with your friends and family is a method to relieve stress too. Friends and family always are the best social support for everyone. Stay with friends and family, we always can feel cozy and comfortable. We also can tell them our trouble.

Besides, you can sort out your stress and try to write it down. This is a good idea to alleviate your stress. When you are tidying your state of mind, your stress will be released. When you are trying to write it down, you will overcome your stress. 

In a nutshell, everyone is suffering from stress, and we should find some suitable ways to release it.
