Gabrielle Wenger, Trauma Registry Specialist, is an invaluable member of the PTSF registry team! Gaby is widely recognized for her exceptional registry education—leading thorough onsite visits and delivering impactful educational sessions across the state. She is an ICD-10 and AAAM AIS coding expert, holding credentials from both AAPC and AAAM, as well as her CSTR, reflecting excellence in the trauma registry profession. Beyond her work with PTSF, Gaby proudly serves on the Pennsylvania Health Information Management Association (PHIMA) board. Thank you, Gaby, for your dedication and commitment to ensuring high-quality trauma data abstraction throughout Pennsylvania!

Shining the spotlight on Heather, our amazing Trauma Registry Technician here at the PTSF! Heather joined our team in August of 2023 just in time to assist with the massive software transition to TraumaHQ. She has been vital in providing timely, knowledgeable customer support to trauma center staff throughout the transition and beyond! Behind the scenes, she has been diligently building and testing the Trauma Registry form in TraumaHQ. Many of you may have also seen Heather out and about on Registry Educational Visits! Heather has demonstrated mastery in the trauma registry profession by obtaining her Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC) and CSTR credentials since joining the PTSF team! Way to go Heather!

Stephanie joined the PTSF in 2012 and has remained our data guru since! Stephanie brought a wealth of experience from her time at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, where she started her career as a Trauma Registrar and later served as a Physician Reimbursement & Coding Analyst for the Trauma Surgery Department. A proud University of Pittsburgh graduate (H2P! 🐾), Stephanie earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management and is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) through the American Academy of Professional Coders.

We’re so grateful for her expertise and dedication!
