He connects with his audience and supporters by constantly tweeting about current events on social media. He also like to keep things personal by talking about his children and everyday life. A lot of his tweets are informally written causing Manjoo to give off a more friendlier vibe to his audience rather than super serious all the time. From looking at his twitter you can tell that Manjoo is a left leaning journalist who, like many writers, does not support President Trump. This could correlate to his columns being biased. Manjoo also likes to talk a lot about technology and music (as you can tell with his name).
