After watching the "LIKE A GIRL" video answer these two questions: 1.) What did you think about during or after watching the video? (Write two sentences) 2.) Now all of you have an obligation to act. What will you do to interrupt when you hear oppressive comments to or about women in your presence? (Write two sentences). Remember: Write your first and last name.

1. While I watched the video, I was surprised how the kids did not understand what like a girl meant compared to the teens. It is sad how as we grow up from kids, we lose our innocence and turn simple things like gender into an insult. One gender is not better than the other.

2. If i heard sexist comments such as like a girl, I would tell them they need to stop and change their perspective on women. There are many powerful women in the world that can accomplish a lot.

1.) As the video began, I'm sad to say that I had laughed a little bit when the guys had started performing actions "Like a girl". However, as the video progressed, and the vieeo started showing young girls around my little sister's age feeling like they had to do something a certain way for it to be considered acting how a girl would, it really hit home, and I immediately felt disappointed in myself.

2.) If I were to hear someone use the phrase "Like a girl" I would show them how offensive and demeaning that term can be. Many people, including myself before watching the video, don't really pay much attention to what that phrase actually means, and I feel that if I were to give them insight on the meaning of it, it would prevent them from using it in the future and hopefully convince them to spread the message.

Even though I have not seen this clip before, I really could see where these girls were coming from and how the the term "like a girl" was used throughout the whole video. And how they asked these girls what it means to be a girl. Women today don't have much in a say in anything that comes up in the world of 2017 and even the previous years. Women should have a say and be involved and they should have a voice to be heard.

2. I will stick up for those women even if it's on social media or in person we women need to stand up and stick up for each other.

I think many people say this because the phrase is often brought up early on in people's development either by adults or TV shows.
2. If anyone uses a phrase like this, I think more than to correct them on the phrase they are using, it is important to see if they are misogynistic. If they are actually misogynistic, you can educate them on inequality with
pay and for the lack of women in power in the workforce.
