The Chinese monarchy was an absolute monarchy where the ruler had all the power but also went into political distress forming different types of monarchies throughout the time but not many of them worked too well. The British monarchy is a constitutional monarchy so the royal family has rule over the government but the parliament decides the laws and policies that are made.
